Single string sound device

When the string vibrates, the sound is amplified by the wooden resonance body. Depending on how long the string is, the tone sounds higher or lower. If the oscillation of the string is interrupted at one point and the shortened side is plucked again, a higher tone emerges. Half the length repeats the root note increased by a whole octave.
