The advantages of robinia wood are obvious: long durability, even in direct soil, no chemical wood protection. The use of heartwood creates cracks in the components that can potentially cause injury. Cracks and deformations also often occur in square timber. Therefore these have to be repaired or sanded out. If crooked round trunks have to be exchanged once, this also means a lot of effort, as there is no exactly the same trunk. Adjustment work on site is absolutely necessary. If there are insufficient maintenance resources and skilled personnel, we recommend that you use the alternative natural larch.
